Party Rental Agreements - please type name in text box at the bottom to indicate agreement* (1) Pool party rentals are only authorized for shareholders of Wendell Swim Club in good standing, with all dues and fees paid.
(2) The shareholder must be present during the entire function and will be held responsible for
any damage or loss to club property, equipment or furnishings. No tape or tacks may be used
on walls, doors or ceilings of the clubhouse. A tack strip is located near the ceiling for hanging
decorations. The renter assumes full responsibility for oversight and supervision of the event
for the safety and well-being of their guests. Since the club is a family-oriented recreational
facility and small children are often present, it is expected that shareholders and guests will
exhibit decent and respectable behavior.
(3) As part of your reservation, the party will have one (1) staff member on duty to oversee guests and help facilitate the party. They will help assist with setup and clean up of the party as needed. Tips are appreciated.
(4) Setup and Clean up is a dual responsibility of the shareholder and the Lifeguards. It is
expected that the renter will help to sweep floors (or mop if needed), clean tables and chairs,
counters, kitchen sink, and remove any of your food placed in the refrigerators. Club utensils
or equipment used must be washed and returned to the proper storage areas. Food and debris
must be removed from the pool deck and lounge chairs returned to the flat position. No food is
allowed in the pool or beyond red lines on the deck. Lifeguards will advise as needed.
(5) Reminder: Concessions equipment (i.e. Snow Cone machine) & food/snacks (i.e. sodas, candy,
ice cream, chips) are not to be used or taken.
(6) For Night Time parties when the pool is closed, select pool rules may be relaxed at the
discretion of lifeguards on duty, but not at the expense of decreased safety. (i.e. floats allowed
in deep end)
